Founder & Managing Director
M.H.Sc.; M.Cl.N.; B.N.; Dip.Appl.Sc.(Nursing); RN; GAICD.
Kath is an experienced registered nurse and health service manager and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Almost all of Kath’s career has been in roles providing services for people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones.
After more than 20 years working in the NSW public health service across both metropolitan and regional settings, included a number of senior clinical leadership and clinical governance roles, Kath was looking for new challenges. In 2010 Kath moved into the not-for-profit sector where she has worked in roles responsible for several state-wide service-based operations and project management portfolios for a number of non-government organisations. In these roles Kath worked closely in partnership with clinicians from all sectors.
In December 2016, Kath was appointed by the then Minister of Health, The Hon. Jillian Skinner, to the Board of Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District for a five year term. As part of this role Kath is Co-Chair of the Aboriginal Health Governance Committee.
Kath is currently working as an Executive Manager in the primary healthcare setting in regional NSW. She is passionate about positive organisational culture, rural health, Aboriginal health and dying well, and is a supporter of the legalisation of Assisted Dying in Australia.
